Born near Cleveland, Ohio on September 23rd, 1952, Dean started playing guitar at the age of eleven. After having played with several local bands during high school, he studied at Kent State, Los Angeles City College and Santa Monica College.

Dean formed a world class group and performed his own brand of original rock music for ten years in Los Angeles and the Southern California area before relocating to Europe. There, he played classic rock music throughout France, England, Spain, and Switzerland. Returning to the States after seven years abroad, Dean settled in his hometown, forming a variety rock band called the Wanderers.

Successfully performing in the northeast Ohio area for more than five years, he decided to seek work in Las Vegas, finding work with various groups and singers.

Dean can currently be seen and heard at casinos, restaurants, and lounges around Nevada and Southern California leading his own group: Mo Dean & the Blues Machine!
