PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I have performed at many events, including: weddings, sporting events, political events, talent contests, church functions, choir concerts, and piano and voice recitals. I have also been a part of a musical called The Music Man, in which I played the role of Widow Paroo. This was a production of The Roswell Community Little Theatre. This year I have performed at many political functions. My biggest political event was singing at a dinner for Vice President Dick Cheney, in Roswell, New Mexico. Singing at so many political events gave me the opportunity to go to Las Cruces, New Mexico as a back-up singer for a rally and dinner for President George Bush. I have sang using karaoke, piano accompaniment, guitar accompaniment, or occasionally a band. I sometimes play my own accompaniment, usually only to songs that I compose myself, or songs that I feel extremely comfortable both singing and playing an instrument at the same time. I don’t like to accompany myself all of the time, do to the fact that I really like to perform and work the audience. In March of 2003 I had the opportunity to be in the Miss Teen Roswell Beauty Pageant and perform a talent which was singing, I placed 1st runner-up. In April 2003 I participated in a showcase in Las Vegas, Nevada, hosted by Affinity Music.
LANGUAGES
I have experience singing in English, Spanish, Latin, German, French, and Hebrew. I feel most comfortable singing in English and Spanish.
OBJECTIVE
I want to have a successful career in the entertainment business. I want to sign a contract with a major record label, and mold my career to meet my morals, beliefs, and expectations of myself. I want to carry on my family’s good name by building a successful, moral career. I would like to be a positive influence to not only teens and children, but also to adults. I want to show them that you can make it even if you don’t look like an airbrushed model from a magazine, that you can make it being yourself, and being proud of who you are. Basically, I want to break the “stereo type” of what everyone thinks an entertainer “should” be, and show the world what an entertainer can be. I want to make music so good that if someone were down to their last dollar, and they had the choice to buy a sandwich or my album, they would choose the album, because it is so good that you can live off of the music alone.
HOBBIES
I like to: play the piano, listen to music, play the guitar, compose my own music, dance, read, sing karaoke, participate in theatre, sing/perform on stage.
