Maura grew up in Florida and her southern roots along with the influences from her many visits to New Orleans have made her a Prime, World Class Jazz Vocalist. Her influences and full repertorie include Pop, Dance, Blues and Country as well as her formidible list of
Jazz Standard Favorites!

Born the youngest of seven children, Maura was brought up in a musical family. Her Marine Colonel father was a "closet musician" and her mother a talented vocalist. From a very young age, Maura would appear as a featured entertainer at her parents military parties, popping in to sing a couple of tunes to the delight of the invited guests!
Her passion for music continued through the teenage years and she starred in numerous high school, and local theater musicals. It was during one of these performances, at the age of 17, that someone in the audience spotted Maura and, after the show, asked her to join his jazz band. Having grown up singing Jazz Standards, she was an instant fit for the popular five piece combo.

Since that first gig, Maura has gone on to perform professionally in nightclubs all across the country, finally settling in Las Vegas where she has been performing locally and regionally with her husband of 20 years Drummer, Vic Jones.

Maura's pure, smooth vocal style takes you back to the good old days and finds you tapping your foot and humming along to your favorite tunes!
