03Feb07 Working band in NC seeks trumpet player with vocal skills for paying gigs. I'd prefer a female who can sing lead, but will consider anybody who can at least sing back-up. Actually, I'll consider a singing woman who can play almost any instrument. It'd help to play another instrument, too, because everybody plays at least a couple of instruments during the show. We travel NC and SC right now, but we intend to expand. Average 10-12 shows per month in spring and summer. Pay ranges from $100-250 per show depending on what type of show it is (club,festival, private party, etc.). Potentially, pay can reach well over $300 for some shows after putting some time in.
