09Feb07 Hello , I played an was signed with Bob Seger an the Silver Bullet Band an capitol records from 1973 to 1981 ,til i was in a accident an my parents told Bob Seger an the other bands i played with that i died in a car crash .But really i did not .That was just a scam to steal all of my money that i made in music.Well the accident left me with no memory at all of who i really was an me being a rock star .Oh i was supposely have died in 1981 .But when i signed with Bob Seger an the Silver Bullet Band my dad had my contract set up to where the band could not use my real name or my real picture .I was the lead an accoustic guitar player .So thats leads to my problem is nobody knows who i am .But anyways i am trying to get ahold of Bob Seger , Steven Tyler an Joe Perry .You see i was the lead guitarist for Aerosmith from 1973 to 1981 too .I was wondering if anybody out there saw Bob Seger an the Silver Bullet Band or Aerosmith from 1973 to 1981 ? 03Feb07 Working band in NC seeks trumpet player with vocal skills for paying gigs. I'd prefer a female who can sing lead, but will consider anybody who can at least sing back-up. Actually, I'll consider a singing woman who can play almost any instrument. It'd help to play another instrument, too, because everybody plays at least a couple of instruments during the show. We travel NC and SC right now, but we intend to expand. Average 10-12 shows per month in spring and summer. Pay ranges from $100-250 per show depending on what type of show it is (club,festival, private party, etc.). Potentially, pay can reach well over $300 for some shows after putting some time in. We have also some old school influences: Iron Maiden, Slayer, Sepultura, Pantera, Kreator, Megadeth, Exodus. We like to work with serious individuals and so far the ones that have been without a demo have usually not had much to show for, so therefore we'd like to hear your DEMO before we go further, either if it is bathroom singing or full blown production ?s long as it represents YOUR TALENT. We are in our late 20s and we are looking to record soon (over 18 songs in the bag) and play shows locally and out of town. There is some label interest and we have received favorable reviews from newspapers and webzines, our music has been played on radio and over web broadcast, so the band has a standing in the local scene as well as solid online web presence. We are not looking to get stoned or drunk and pretend to be the next Motley Crue - we are looking to get somewhere with THE MUSIC. DRUMMERS: The drummer should be able to play double bass like one of the drummers of the bands mentioned above. I guess a good reference point for double bass should be Dave Lombardo of Slayer, Nick Menza (Megadeth), Gene Hoglan (Exodus,Strapping Young Lad) and so on... VOCALISTS: Our ideal would be a perfect match of clean and growl, like Mikael Akerfeld (Opeth) but we're willing to listen - melodic to death metal and anything in between. Either or both styles will work well, but we have some clean passages where "death" vocals would not work.
